Urgent Action Needed: Our Jobs Are At Stake!
Dear ATU Members and supporters,
Our public transit systems are at a critical crossroads. The Oregon Legislature is considering funding for the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF), and the decisions they make will directly impact our jobs, our communities, and the future of transit in Oregon.

Here's a friendly reminder: If you need help, get in touch with your union representative promptly. We are available to support our members by offering useful guidance or resources to address any issues before they escalate into disciplinary matters. Don’t wait until it’s too late to reach out.
I also want to remind you of the advancements in technology within our city transit vehicles, school buses, and paratransit services. This evolving technology is capable of monitoring speed, location, braking patterns, and potentially identifying unsafe driving habits, with the potential for further developments in the future.
